Carriere Freres TUBEROSE CANDLE ~ Tuberose is a herbaceous plant of the Agavaceae family. From Mexico, it travelled to Europe in the XVII century and has long since adapted to continental climates. To conserve their sensual fragranceintact, tuberose flowers are hand-picked. In Italy, young girls were forbidden to wander around gardens where the powerful flower bloomed, for fear their intoxicating smell would rob the girls of their decency.
